bands like Asking Alexandria, Sleeping with Sirens, At The Skylines, Dawn DeFeo, Of Mice & Men, Hands Like Houses.
bands with good screaming and wonderful clean vocals

Black Veil Brides is great. Theyre the only modern bad that’s real rock n roll. If you like them, you LOVE LA guns, KISS, Gun N Roses (formed out of LA Guns) (Apoetite for Destruction is THE neatest rock album EVER along with Aerosmith!!!), and of course the lovely Motely Crüe and Aerosmith.
But if you like the more modern stuff, be areful not to call it rock. This stuff is more metal and hardcore than rock n roll.
So: Abandon All Ships (clean vocals are kinda autotune though), Woe Is Me (same thing), and OHH LORDY Modern Day Escape is great (Sandra Alvarenga, their drummer, was in Black Veil Brides). Pierce the Veil.
Emarosa is great but not as scremo. Just post. Check out “The Past Should Stay Dead.” Johnny Craig has seriously underrated vocals.
Alkaline Trio (I Found Away, Time to Waste) are not as metal-like but are absolutely great.
Check out Circa Survive: “The Difference Between Medicine and poison Is In The Dose.”
Check out Brand New: “The Quiet Things That no One understands,” “Okay I beliee You But my tommy Gun Dont hurt.” maybe Millstone by them took
Okay I believe you but my tommy Gun Don’t Hurt (long song title, I know :/ ) has deliciously vicious lyrics.
Now, Escape the Fate. Be careful with this one. Ever since Ronnie Radke, the original singer, got kicked out, people have split up and done a Team Radke or Team Mabbiy thing. MABBIT, YOU SAY?! Yes, Craig MABBIT formally from Blessthefall (also screamo). He took over Ronnie’s place in ETF. He’s a very versatile singer and even better screamer (prolly my favourite) and is a respected musician, but he really is an axshole when it comes to fans. He’s just not a great guy many would say.
Ronnie Radke was then in jail for…oh it’s a long story D: but basically Mabbit made life harder for him while he was in jail and he wrote an album while in prison out of his frustration and anger. He made Falling In Reverse, formally known as From Behind These Walls (like jail, get it?) with this album- its like a giant middle finger at Escape the Fate, mostly at Max Green (in ETF and Ronnie’s previous best friend) and Mabbit.
Oh and Ronnie’s like Chuck Norris-type awesome. GOTTA watch the short thing on YouTube called Ronnie Radke: The Story of Escape the Fate. It says it all mostly
Personally, Ronnie’s a hero to me. This man was addicted to drugs, betrayed by his best friends, kicked out of his band and sent to prison. But he got over it. He quit drugs and his reckless life and started a new band, started a new life.
Check out: Not Good Enough For Truth in Cliche by Escaoe the Fate (this ones with Ronnie)
The Flood by Escaoe the Fate (this ones with Mabbitt.)
Raised By the Wolves and Drug In Me Is You by Falling In Reverse (Ronnie’s new band).
You need to know this history!!
Get a twitter and follow these bands!!! Follow your favourite band members!!! I follow Ronnie Radke, (Craig) Mabbitt, and all members from Black Veil Brides (they’re freakin hilarious!!!!!! And hott :3 )
Beware of Blood On te Dancegloor. If you like that stuff, okay. But it’s not hardcore just bc it has screaming. Lyrics are very sexual, just saying. Anyway they’re more Scene and also more pop and auto tune (ducks from things being thrown at me) but a lot if teenage girls like em do whatever floats your boat!
Older hardcore bands like Acenged Sevenfold are great. The older the rock, the more awesome it is.
Think Black Sabbath. Judas Priest.
Holy Marshmallows. CEMETARY GATES BY PANTERA. Epic classic.
Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses. Easily an epic classic.
Dream On by Aerosmith- know this stuff!!!
These are the songs that will never die out, no matter how hard people try to make rock n roll fade away.
So thank god for Black Veil Brides, they attract lots of teens and then those teens want more rock n roll and it’s just… It’s just so beautiful :’)
Oh and thank god for Hard Rock Cafe!! ;D
